Principal Design Manager

Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 8+ years experience working in product or service design
OR Master’s Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in product or service design
OR equivalent experience (e.g., experience using design thinking to solve problems).
3+ years people management experience
Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Collaborate and align the continued integration of generative AI into Microsoft Copilot Studio, exploring innovative ways to enhance conversational capabilities and user interactions.
User-Centric Design:

Champion user-centered design principles, conducting user research to gain insights and validate design decisions.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that elevate the overall user experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align design strategies with overall product goals.
Actively participate in agile development processes, providing design leadership throughout the product lifecycle.
