  •  In collaboration with Principal and network office leadership, develop network office annual sales plan and lead the execution of productivity initiatives from plan.
  •  Analyze sales at a network office level, identify gaps/opportunities and co-create solutions with field leaders .
  •  Drive planning and sales results through local infrastructure leveraging other Performance Team members as appropriate.
  • Consult and support advisors as they navigate practice management decisions.
  •  Problem-solve a broad set of complex network office challenges and drive to a resolution.
  •  Advance corporate initiatives related to product/planning/productivity at local network office level.
  •  Consult to Northwestern Mutual’s sales cycle, products and planning approach.
  •  Consult to NM value proposition and convey to advisors.
  •  Establish and maintain strategic Career Advisor relationships.
  •  Assist Network office in recruiting and retention of both experienced advisors and career changers
  •  Provide subject matter expertise back to organizational projects/priorities.
  •  Go-to expert for enterprise strategic sales initiatives.

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, marketing, or finance
  •  Minimum 2 years (5 years preferred) financial services sales experience to include high level consultation on sales strategies, product features, and planning platforms.
  •  FINRA Series 7 & Life Health License required or obtain within 6 months of hire.
  •  Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to navigate multiple priorities, ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality work is delivered
  •  Understanding of NM’s products and services preferred
  •  Demonstrated ability to influence and affect change.
  •  Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment
  •  Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills
  •  Up to 40% travel required
