Registered Nurse School Contract Position

 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a School Nurse in Monroe, NC. As a trusted partner with the local school district, we are committed to providing excellent healthcare services to students and contributing to a healthy school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct health care services to students, including assessments, first aid, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with school staff to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.
  • Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records for students.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
  • Educate students and staff on health-related topics and promote wellness within the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
  • Experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and administrators.
  • Knowledge of current health and safety regulations in a school setting.
