Training Assistant id-1215

Purpose of the Position:

Reporting to the Technical Trainor, the Technical Training Assistant will assist Equipment Department in the Admin functions of the Department in the achievement of their set goals and key performance indicators. Responsible for the coordination of training programs to all relative department. Perform all the training admin activities in accordance with the set policies and procedures of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

TRAINING PROGRAMS

  1. Responsible to coordinate with Supplier’s schedule of outsourced training programs.
  2. Coordinate with Workshops and Project sites schedule and available training programs.
  3. Preparations of company related documents (PRF, CA, RFEA) and secure its approval based on company procedures.
  4. Perform other related functions if needed.

  1. Responsible to coordinate with Human Resources for sourcing of potential applicants and/or candidates for training.
  2. Responsible to coordinate with Workshops and Project Admin on Trainee’s accommodation on respective assignment.
  3. Responsible to all have all necessary resources (PPES, Office supplies etc) needed by all trainees and make sure that it is available at all time.
  4. Responsible in the safety compliance of Trainee in coordination with safety group with regards to PPE requirements at project.
  5. Must conduct a regular audit on all Trainee to make sure that company guidelines (eg. Cleanliness, Safety) and policies are followed and to coordinate with Technical Trainor, maintenance supervisor, HR in the post evaluation of their technical skills and job behavior after emersion.
  6. Strictly implement and monitor all Trainee’s compliance with Company’s Code of conduct and as well as Customer’s on site rules.
  7. Coordinate with HR regarding schedule and assignment of all Trainees.

MAINTENANCE OF FILES AND REPORTS

  1. Responsible in the proper monitoring of all trainees and existing maintenance personnel as to its status and location.
  2. Responsible in the updating of all records related to these maintenance personnel (Profiles and training records) on the department server.
  3. Prepare of management reports and other reports as maybe required from time to time (daily, weekly and monthly reports).

COMMUNICATION & COORDINATION WITH CUSTOMER AND OTHER SUPPORT GROUP

  1. Responsible in communicating regularly with on site customer (HR, Admin, Accounting, safety, Engineering) and head office.
  2. Communicate on site project and monitor National Competency (NCII), as client requirement.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  1. College Level and at least one (1) year experience in related field.
  2. High Level of interpersonal skills and integrity; Creative and Forward thinker.
  3. Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets and ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  4. Ability to interact with staff (at all Levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
  5. A reliable professional who follows organization and department procedures, completes tasks in timely manner.
