Job Purpose:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to dnata personnel, interfacing with Emirates Group IT (EGIT) in Dubai where required. In the event of service disruption, strive to mitigate the adverse impact on business operations; ensure that normal IT service operations are restored within agreed service levels and business priorities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be willing to work and relocate to Clark, Pampanga
  • Applicants must be a Filipino citizen or have relevant residence status
  • University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems, printers, LAN, MS Office products.
  • Practical knowledge of diagnostic tools, such as, cable tester, crimping tools and multi-meter
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • At least 3 years experience in IT – background with Travel Industry preferable

Deployment

  • Co-ordinate the testing, implementation and user training of the information solutions required and implemented by dnata contact center with vendor/head office so as to ensure that all systems are being utilised effectively.
  • Carry out deployment of equipment (independently) where required, and maintain the quality of workmanship as per EGIT standards in all installation related activities.
  • Supervise all IT operations in the start-up of new offices.
  • Work closely with head office, IT and other departments in the implementation of the new systems/ enhancements through proper implementation plans.

Maintenance

  • To carry out routine preventative maintenance of various types of computers, printers and other data communications equipment and peripherals.
  • To carry out servicing and repair activity in accordance with EGIT standards.
  • Verify the availability of servers, network and telephone infrastructure. Ensure security/antivirus updates are current for all systems through generated reports. Report any issues to the EGIT.
  • Assist in system upgrades/enhancements and carry out training and support functions to line departments. Ensure system enhancements are delivered according to the changing requirements of the business

Support

  • Provide technical support to dnata contact centre staff on basic network and PC problems (covering IP addressing, network/telephone cabling, MS office, OS and replacing telephones sets if required) enabling them to resume their work with minimum disruption.
  • Report and follow-up on faults/problems (i.e. PCs, printers, servers, network equipment, telephone) with IT service providers/vendors in coordination with EGIT. Establish estimated downtime and inform the users of the delay accordingly. Minimise system/equipment downtime and ensure service is restored within agreed service levels and business priorities.
  • Other tasks may be assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php27,000.00 – Php30,000.00 per month
