Job Description
What you’ll do…Position: Manager, Advanced AnalyticsJob Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030Duties: Develop campaign insights and deliver findings to the Walmart Connect Sales team and advertisers to influence media investment strategy and drive business growth opportunities. Utilize SQL and Python to join various data sources and create aggregated values for statistical analysis.
Guide the Sales team in setting up A/B and multivariate test designs and explain statistical concepts. Leverage Tableau to visualize data and generate useful views for gaining insights and identifying patterns. Create documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the data analysis process and replicate it if needed. Gather feedback from stakeholders and work with the Product team to identify pain points and enhance measurement solutions.
This position does not supervise other employees.
Minimum education and experience required:
Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, or related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, or related field and 1 year of experience in data analytics or related field.Skills required: Experience querying data from various data resources using SQL.
Experience creating dashboards to present data in multiple formats using Tableau. Experience performing data analysis in Excel using advanced functions. Experience with statistical concepts (including Regression, T-Test, ANOVA, Chi-Square Test, and Attribution Model). Experience developing insights based on data pulling from various ad servers and media tools.
Experience pulling website performance by using Adobe Analytics. Experience with marketing funnel, media metrics (including CTR, CVR, and Reach), and sales metrics (including ROAS, Attributed Sales, and Sales Lift) to give actionable recommendations.
Experience with project management to tackle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Experience utilizing PowerPoint to build charts and design templates for new reports. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.Wal-Mart is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
