Requirements for Success
To succeed as a Java DevOps Engineer at HSBC, it’s important to meet the following requirements:
Profound insights into Java internals, including class loading, memory management, concurrency, collections, microservices, and streams.
Excellent hands-on experience in containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
Expertise in common DevOps tools and methodologies, ensuring the smooth integration of software development and operations.
Strong programming skills in Oracle PL/SQL, along with experience in performance tuning and query optimization. Sound knowledge of functions, triggers, materialized views, database management, and schema design is essential.
Exposure to ReactJS would be an added advantage, although not mandatory.
