Full job description
Community Brands is seeking individuals with electronic payments industry experience to serve as subject matter experts (SME) to help drive adoption of CardConnect gateways and processing services in assigned product portfolios. This role collaborates with account executives, client account managers and Support to help identify and qualify high-value targets, strategize on an approach and engage key stakeholders in the prospective user. The goal is to increase the product knowledge, draw attention to differentiating features and help colleagues spot the cues and clues from clients ripe for an upgrade from their current payment solutions. Doing so will drive the CardConnect value proposition deeper into the corners of our company to drive increased awareness, greatly expanding network of potential referring associates and interest among non-CC users.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:A Day in the Life
- Drive penetration of CardConnect processing services through assigned portfolio.
- Collaborate with Marketing Managers from Community Brands and CardConnect on compelling messaging
- Regular contact with assigned teams, supervisors and managers to share updates and outcomes
- Conduct CardConnect gateway and reporting portal demos via Zoom screenshare meetings
- Support RFP process when called upon
- Actively manage pipeline to source viable, credit-worthy non-profit clients

Sift through portfolio reports for assigned Association/Nonprofit products with a CardConnect (CC) integration. Identify high-value targets, collaborate with account owner on strategic approach. track and report on progress
- Identify and recommend appropriate solutions that may require engaging and coordinating multiple resources to ensure clients’ objectives are met
- Understand the competition and develop strategic plans for obtaining greater share of market
- Work with the Implementation and Account Management teams to transition new accounts as they are added to their respective portfolios
- Support account management for rebids and program expansion as needed
- Exceed annual sales goals
- Actively ensure compliance with Bank’s Business Standards of Conduct and all Patriot Act, CIP, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, and other regulatory and compliance policies and procedures. Actively participate in any required corporate and business line Compliance Training
- Superior consulting skills, ability to assess client needs and build strong business cases
- Coordinate with designated contacts and Legal department to successfully negotiate agreements

- 4+ years of effective sales/account management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Effective sales cycle development with focus on building and managing an effective pipeline
- The ability to open, update and close opportunities in Salesforce
- Must possess the ability to build and leverage relationships with internal colleagues and support personnel
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong presentation skills
- The ability to engage the client to understand current and future needs in order to sell solutions that ensure client satisfaction
- Be a self-starter with strong organization skills and the ability to work independently
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities, work in a fast paced environment and make decisions quickly while demonstrating flexibility/adaptability/personal accountability
- Proficient PC skills to include Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
