Full job description
Consumer Litigation Contract Attorney (Remote)
Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a full-time, mid-level contract attorney with consumer litigation experience to join our alternative-track attorney program, DWTSurge. The ideal candidate will be a litigation attorney with experience in all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation and settlement. The position entails work on arbitrations so experience with, e.g., AAA or JAMS, is a plus. Candidates should be able to operate with a high level of independence, possess strong client service abilities, and exercise good judgment as part of a highly collaborative team.
Attorneys who are looking for more flexibility in their career and who have four or more years of experience in litigation at mid-sized or large law firms are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be able to independently handle a high-volume of consumer arbitration and/or litigation matters, and have substantial brief-writing and stand-up experience. Attorneys who are looking for remote work are encouraged to apply.
The selected resource will provide dedicated support to a high-profile client with minimal risk of diversion to the other litigation needs of the broader practice group. Candidates can expect to work closely with DWT attorneys and staff as part of a collaborative team providing high-value legal services to the firm’s clients. Attorneys who can work independently but also collaborate easily with lawyers and support staff to meet discrete litigation objectives under short deadlines will be successful in this role.
