Senior Product Manager, Health Plans

The Senior Product Manager, Health Plan will be responsible for delivering multi-faceted solutions to meet the needs of health plan clients. This role will work closely with sales, professional services, compliance, clinical and development teams to understand opportunities to ensure our solution requirements are comprehensive to successfully achieve solution/market fit. This person will identify and prioritize future state solution needs and be responsible for ensuring the business requirements are comprehensive and address the problems to solve.

This person will need to be a collaborative leader in the context of work with multiple stakeholder teams including R&D, professional services, client services, sales as well as up and downstream marketing. This person needs to be able to manage executive level communication with ease through regular well-informed status updates that tie the work to outcomes and KPIs.

The preferred candidate will enjoy problem solving, have a growth mindset, and be able to mobilize a cross-functional team to solve problems. A successful candidate will also understand the regulatory requirements such as NCQA, Star ratings, Transparency in Coverage, etc, as well as various payer lines of business. The candidate will have experience working in product management with strong analytical and communication skills. This person can support both pre-sales conversations as well as post sales delivery, including defining solution requirements and influencing the design of emerging capabilities. The candidate will have a strong understanding of payer priorities, market problems and day to day functional processes.

This candidate will have extensive experience with JIRA at the Initiative through task levels and have an understanding of standardized product documentation processes. A successful candidate will possess the ability to influence, effectively communicate and build a business case in an effort to leverage matrixed teams to build out this solution.
