As a Business Development Representative at SVC, you will focus on converting pre-qualified leads into active clients for our specialized Amazon services. This position requires an in-depth understanding of the Amazon agency model and demands a skilled closer who can effectively communicate the value of our services.

Job Type: Full – Time
Salary range: $48,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year (depending on experience and final interview evaluation)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential brands and businesses seeking support with their Amazon presence.
  • Convert pre-qualified leads into sales by presenting tailored solutions based on our Amazon service offerings.
  • Conduct in-depth discussions with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how our services can meet those needs.
  • Develop proposals that effectively convey the value of our services and address specific client concerns.
  • Navigate client negotiations to successfully close sales and achieve revenue targets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Amazon’s platform and marketplace dynamics to inform discussions and proposals.
  • Collaborate with the client service team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.
  • Accurately track and report on sales activities and outcomes in the CRM system.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing account management and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and Amazon’s policies to position our agency effectively.

Experience, Qualifications and Qualities we look for:

  • Proven experience in sales, with a strong track record of successfully closing deals.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within e-commerce, digital marketing, or agency services.
  • Able to demonstrate with 4 to 5 years of related experience.
  • Deep understanding of the Amazon agency model and how Amazon services can be leveraged to enhance client success.
  • Good understanding of Amazon’s ecosystem, including Seller Central platform.
  • Familiarity with Amazon advertising (PPC) strategies and optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude, especially in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to generate ideas and effectively engage potential clients in meaningful discussions about their needs.
  • Proficiency in recording video tutorials or audits to generate sales leads for our agency.
  • Capability to manage appointments and handle email communication, efficiently collaborating with Sales Managers/Account Executives.
  • Motivated, driven, tech-savvy individuals with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in using MS Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and performance tracking.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with Amazon operations (an advantage).
  • Advanced digital troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to work in the Eastern Standard Time Zone (UTC-05:00)
  • Set up to work from home with a stable internet connection and a quiet area in order to communicate with stakeholders and clients.
  • Familiarity with online meeting applications like Google Meets and Zoom.

Bonus Points:

  • Remote experience.
  • E-commerce experience (Walmart, Etsy, eBay, Shopify, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Asana, Slack, Hubstaff and Google Suites.
  • Have worked in a company whose customers are brands and sellers on Amazon.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) and sales tools for lead management.
