Job Description
We are in search of a passionate and driven Systems Administrator to take charge of building and maintaining Ring’s customer service technology stack. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate and consult with the business to identify and define their requirements.
Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable enhancements and integrations.
Understand the tech stacks and cross-system interdependencies and limitations.
Identify and implement short-term solutions while contributing to the definition of long-term solutions.
Engage in systems administration and support, including deploying new systems, managing accounts, and resolving technical issues.
Contribute to security compliance efforts.
Diagnose and resolve bugs reported by end users.
Support critical infrastructure services processing millions of requests per minute.

Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in systems management/administration automation.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong debugging and systems analysis skills for swift issue resolution/mitigation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language like Python or PowerShell.
Experience using modern tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Dropbox, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MIS.
Passion for technology and familiarity with Ring products.

Compensation for this position is based on the cost of labor in different geographic markets in the US. The base pay ranges from $32,800/year in the lowest market to $58,600/year in the highest market, considering factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
